ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING, JANUARY 21, 2006.

This is our annual business meeting (we only have one a year) so please make
every effort to join us at the Bavarian House in Plano at 1:00 PM. We will
feast on fantastic German food prior to the meeting, along of course, with some
good German adult beverages (and soft drinks). It is "pay as you go" for
dinner and drinks. As far as business goes, there are several major programs to
be discussed. The annual golf tournament, Vet to Vet, Montagnard Assistance
Program, the Scholarship program, and the Great Southwest Mini-Convention are
among these programs. We will also be looking at our calendar for 2006 and also
some fund raising efforts. Once again, this is your Chapter, the Board
serves you and we need your input and participation at this business meeting. I
promise you, I will keep it as short as possible.

'HONOR THE LADIES NIGHT", FEBRUARY 18, 2006:

This is our annual dinner to honor the Ladies of the Chapter. It is probably
the best social event we have during the year, so watch the Email List and
the Newsletter for the time and place - it is still to be determined.

ST. PATRICKS DAY CELEBRATION, MARCH 18, 2006:

Bobbi and Travis Mills will be hosting the Chapter's St. Patrick's Day
Celebration at their lovely home in McKinney, Texas. You really don't want to miss
this party, we will have some Irish adult beverages (and soft drinks) and Ms.
Bobbi can really put out some fantastic Irish chow. Watch the Email List and
Newsletter for directions to the Mills's house.

VET TO VET, LAST WEDNESDAY EACH MONTH:

The Chapter conducts its monthly Vet to Vet meeting with the veteran patients at the Spinal Cord Unit at the North Texas Va Hospital on Lancaster Road in South Dallas. Start time is 6:00 PM and it last approximately 1 1/2 hours. We first feed the patients a real good dinner, then following dinner we play a few rounds of cash bingo with them. This is a really good program of community and veterans service that the Chapter does. We encourage all of you to volunteer and come out and assist the "hard core" Chapter members in helping us with the program. You will not regret it.

CHAPTER 15 CANYON BAY PICNIC, MAY - TBA

MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY / PICNIC, MAY 29, 2006

The Chapter will celebrate its annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie at the Special Forces Memorial Monument. This will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 29th. Please try to be there a few minutes early so we can get started on time. The ceremony will be brief and following the ceremony, we will all retire to Ben Lyons's home which is about 3 miles from the Cemetery. The Chapter is providing the drinks, the meats (ribs, etc.). We ask that you folks bring a covered dish. If you have any questions about these activities (what to bring, directions, etc.) call George. Uniform is Green Blazers (SFA) or nice clothes,. don't come looking ratty.

ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER, JUNE 25, 2006

Sunday, June 25th we will have the annual Chapter Awards Banquet at the VFW Post 4280 in Plano. New cook up there and he is preparing New York Strip steaks and/or Chicken Cordon Bleu. More details to follow on this event, so stay tuned.
