The highlight of the 2006 Southwest Mini-Convention will be our participation in the Downtown Dallas Veterans’ Day parade on Saturday morning, November 11^th.  The ladies (unless they want to participate in the parade) will be treated to lunch and an afternoon at Grapevine mall – one of the largest malls and retail outlets in the country.  We hope to have in attendance as our guests of honor several active duty Special Forces soldiers who are veterans of the War on terrorism.  If you have never attended one of these Mini-Conventions, they are great fun – plenty of good food, lots of free (24 hours a day) adult beverages, and great comradeship.

The 2006 Southwest Mini-Convention is open to all members of the Special Forces Association and their guests.

The convention will feature:

• Friday night Tex-Mex buffet with entertainment
• A Saturday lunch for the men
• A Saturday lunch and trip for the ladies to one of the largest shopping malls and retail outlet centers in the country
• Saturday night banquet
• 24 hour hospitality room – all drinks free!
